DIY herbivore fish food(Mbunas)

Let starts with this- this is my first DIY food, also I won't give out how much to use of each ingredient so no one tries to replicate it and somehow kills there fish...

Ingredient list, Peas(baby food), human grade spirulina powder, whole Antarctic krill, green seaweed, garlic,paprika,cayenne pepper(fish like there food spicy too,lol)

Peas-

Cut into smaller pieces

Then I just decided to use a blender...

I will add pics once I make the actual food, should be tomorrow.

P.S If you do want my "secret" formula I will give to you but I'm not to be held responsible for anything.

Mixed the peas with the seaweed in a blender the outcomes doesn't smell good lol.

Haven't made the full mixture. The spirulina is still MIA, I still waiting for my shipment to arrive. somebody is getting a bad review...

Got the final ingredient the spirulina, my fish eat the DIY food its mission accomplished.

Well they eat this like is the best food ever lol

Have you tasted it yet for consistency & flavor yet?? I'd expect nothing less from a great chef!!!

HA!

What are you making the solution in to. Pellets...balls of goo.....??? Are you drying them first?

I wonder if those dehydrators would make them into pellets that they could pick at without it all flying all over the tank?

Freezing them in ziplock bags and breaking pieces of it.

Dumb question,,,why did you come up with Cayenne pepper? Was that as a flavor enhancer?

With the pepper and the peas..these fish will be pooping like a race horse!

The only thing I don't like is that this food kind of clouds the water.

Yes..but is it frozen yet? maybe when it's frozen...it will solidify and make it less apt to disintegrate into the water. Even after you defrost it!

Wasn't 100% frozen I'll see how it goes tomorrow.
