Divide my tank?

HI everyone, I have an empty, cycled 10 gallon tank. I am planning on a male betta, but I have a feeling I may not be able to decide on just one. I'm wondering if I should divide my tank. What do you think? Would you divide yours or just get one betta to enjoy the whole tank?

its depends on you! I would personally divide it but you may like the look of one Betta in a nice tank! He would really enjoy it better!

I would only do one - I have my betta in a 10 gal, and he uses every inch of it!

I have a divided tank, and its so much fun! I would definitely divide it (If I were you) there are just to many pretty Bettas that need good homes ! I think its great if you let your betta have all that room, but personally I wouldn't want 1 fish in that sized tank

Thanks everyone! If I can't pick between two, I'll get both and divide the tank. If I only find one then he can have the whole tank to himself!

I'd go single, personally. You can get more creative in its setting than having to halve the space and limit your options twice.

I have a 2.5 gallon (2 technically but the second was a rescue I just got), for various reasons, but wish I could've sculpted a much more intriguing home. The space just isn't there.
