    Hello!

Sorry for the terrible picture but I found a bunch of these fish in the lakes in Disneyland Paris. I doubt they are wild, but was wondering what species they are and what sort of care they would require if they were to be kept in an aquarium or pond.

    Thanks! :D

I think they are perch. They would need a pretty large tank and would be tricky to keep with other fish.

Ah fair enough! They looked a bit like a loach but I'm not very good with naming fish :p

Hard to see through the surface reflections, but I would agree that it appears to be a Perch.

Yeah sorry about that it's really sunny over here :D

Thanks though! I have seen some quite big ones, bigger than my hand (I don't have a ruler to hand I'm afraid but picture and above average hand size.. bigger than that)

Hecc this thread seems really unprofessional I know and I'm sorry but you have to take into account my current circumstances!

What about these ones? Only other fish in the park

Some sort of carp. I think they're grass carp.

The first ones look like European Perch (Perca fluviatilis) is also known as English Perch or Redfin Perch, the second look like Black Carp.
