Is it possible that the pictured Discus was temporarily exposed to an ammonia spike? IMO, looks like he is healing up from ammonia burn.

It's possible the black blemishes are either contusions or simply pigment spots. It's not uncommon for very light colored fish to display tiny black pigment spots.
As long as the Discus is eating things will probably be fine.

They are all eating well and swimming around all together. Will just keep an eye on him and see if things change in anyway.

It’s called black spot disease. You’ll have to look it up. Sorry only read about it once. Most thought it was peppering. I’ll see if I can find it for ya.

Don’t think it’s anything bad. Couldn’t find the thread. Will look again later. What it the temp of the tank and how big is it? How big are the discus?

Hi Compo,

How'd this all go with your Discus? One of mine is showing similar markings :/

These are the best I could get, the little monster wouldn't stop to pose for me haha
This one does fight a lot / get bullied by the others, so it might even be bruising from all the fighting... is that even a thing?
