Not sure what Shadowfox is referring too but I'm rather comfortable coming to the conclusion that the guppies and or plates had a nice snack of those shrimp.

Check your filter or filter intake. Most filters are slightly to strong for ghost shrimp and will suck them in. If its not the filter its probably the pleco. My plecos love a shrimp snack

The Chinese Algae eaters get very aggressive with anything smaller than them

Ooh duh that's what CAE means. I wasn't aware that they are known to eat shrimp but it certainly doesn't surprise me. Could still have been the guppies.

imo guppies are way too tiny to eat a small shrimp, they might pester them tho.

Haha we are in 3 threads together shadow. I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree. We lost two ghost and an amano to some guppies last month. That's all that was in the tank.

I know at least one of them was killing the shrimp. The others may have just picked at dead shrimp but I witnessed 1 of the guppies attack shrimp without a doubt.

hmmm, mine never did anything to my shrimp even the dead ones, just goes to show that all fish are different!

so ukbb the answer is YES,some of the fish listed could easily eat your shrimp.
the guppies,CAE (they get big and aggresive so be careful!),the pleco, those are probably the main ones that could eat your shrimp...
