Earlier this week I place my first online plant order and had planed to do a bleach the plants before placing them in my tanks, since several of the reviews stated there had been snail on the plants they received. It wasn't until I started researching bleach dip ratios etc. that I found out it isn't recommended to bleach dip water lettuce among a few other.

Is there a way to bleach dip these plants safely? Would a sea salt or epson salt bath work? (I have both on hand)

I would defiantly not do bleach with floating plants. Maybe salt, that would be the safest besides like alum. I would quarantine them in a container just to be sure tho

Thanks for the help. Ended up going with alum and a 3 day quarantine, so far I'm snail free
