So I’m wondering if my other Oto that I was asking about may have been/could be pregnant because this Oto in the QT tank I am really pretty sure IS pregnant! Does it seem that way to you and if so any tips on how to get her threw to successful egg laying and fry living and thriving? Also how long do they tend to carry the eggs before laying them so I know when to start looking and to be very careful where I clean!?!

Pics of her tummy mostly where I think a couple eggs might be visible in some shots... tell me what you think. She didn’t get fat overnight but gradually, tho faster than just being a piggy would I believe especially since she’s been pretty active always tho lately I see her “resting” more on her fins and whatnot... I think at this point she’d have trouble laying on leaves with that belly if they couldn’t use those fins to hold them selves up hehe.

It looks like a well fed / gravid female.
They lay eggs, so don't get pregnant.
