Different Live Rocks(I'm really confused)

I have a bare 55G(48" long) tank with sandy bottom that currently houses all juvenile blue hippo tang, tomato clown, bi-color angel and 2 yellow clown gobies. I want to get about 70lb of live rock to help the overall quality and keeping the tank healthy. I don't plan on growing any nice corals or anemones.

However there are many different rocks out there from premium live rocks from places like FijI to base rocks. I've also seen rocks that are called refuge rock that claim to provide all the benefits such as good bacteria and living micro-organisms.

Basically all claim to provide lots of positives. What do I choose? Places like Oceanpro Aquatics swear that their Hawaiin baserocks offer just as much as the premium rocks except not as colorful. I don't want to buy any fancy lights but just want to keep it simple.

Sorry for the long post. Please help this newbie out.

I bought my at Drs. Foster and Smith. I have fijI premium and it is awesome. The color goes away, but after a few weeks it comes back. I think they check the LR before they ship it because I didn't get any kind of hitchhikers. All my ammonia , nitrite, and nitrate are zero. They only got high during the cycling period, but after it cycled my tank haven't shown any sings of them. That was the pro now the cons. LR almost anywhere you go is expensive. The real price of the LR is awesome and cheap but the shipping is killer. They have to send it to you fast so you have to pay for (I think) two day shipping with a plane. I got 45lbs for about $100. With shipping about $162. Getting 70lbs isn't going to be cheap. That's why I don't get a 55 yet. I would have to get more LR and upgrade my lighting. And those two are the most expensive part of having a reef.

FijI Premium!! Porous and very light w/ exceptional configurations. Just make sure to hold the rock in separate container w/ heater and PH, whether shipped or p/u locally, for few weeks before adding to tank already stocked w/ fish!!! Sort of Q/T the rock either to eradicate the common protozoan (Ick, velvet) or to recured the rocks.

Thank you all for the info. I've been running a setup w/tacky looking artificial coral decors with fish. Other than the tedious maintenance part, I've been successful. Is live rock going to make it that much easier and be worth the $?
