55gal WC 20-30% weekly Tap water treated with prime Airstone in center of tank for aeration Water parameters: Nitrite 0 Ammonia 0 Nitrate 5-10ppm PH 7.5 Plants: Moneywort, mondo grass, moss balls, java moss, java fern, anacharis. Fish: 1 female venustus 6.5" 2 yellow labs m/f (female 4.5")(male 1.5-2") 3 kenyi (2female 2" & 1.5") (male 2") 2 kribs (mated pair) male 3.5" female 2.5" 2rubbernose Pleco 2" 4 Cory cats (unknown) 1" 3 giant danios 2-3" (stay at the top) 2 hatchets (stay at the top) I recently rehomed a red jewel & Johanni. I have plenty of caves of all sizes to accommodate all fish & even have some to spare. I would like to add more cichlids that would fit in well with this stocking. In the near future this tank will be upgraded to either a 75 or 125 gal. So I do intend on getting at least a few more venustus one male & 2 female which would be 1m/3female ratio. If I find them young I'll get them now. If full grown they will have to wait until the upgrade in the near future. I was also wondering if the yellow labs require the same ratio. All suggestions are welcome.
