10 Gallon Tank Did my fry die without me knowing?

I got a bonus fry when I bought some endlers, and I've been trying to raise him best I could, but it is difficult in a tank with other fish, and I havent been seeing him in the last 4-ish days. I noticed that today, there was a nutrient spike and algae kinda went nuts. Is this a sign that he died and I just can't find the body?

Might have got ate at some point, dead or alive, depending what is in the tank. Probably wouldn't be enough as a fry to cause any kind of spike i would think, though.

Well they're endlers and he's much bigger than their mouths so I'll look for him.

When they are really tiny, we usually only see our platy fry once every 2-3 days since we have so many places for them to hide.

The issue I have is that he's not very small at all, he's a decent size(like 2/3 the size of my full grown ones.) But my tank does have quite a few hiding places so I hope it's that.
