Hi, I have a group of 9 redline torpedo (Denison) barbs, they're very energetic & go into feeding frenzy when I drop food in the tank but I've never witnessed them uprooting or harming my plants in any way & my tank is heavily planted.

Mine have never done any uprooted or damage to any of my plants too.

it is a toss up whether them or the clown loaches decided after a couple years the plants were no longer welcome .They do nibble on algae so some may mistake this for eating plants but in my tank with 8 of them the plants did not hold up .
