Deep Blue Terra

Anyone have experience with this company and their products? I emailed them to find a retailer near me as they only sell through dealers not online. I saw one of their Edge series aquariums at a mom n pop pet store and would have purchased it but the conditions they kept their tanks, reptiles and a tortoise were deplorable at best. There was a 12-15” pleco in a tank that may have been 50 gal at best. They had 2 5’ pythons in too small of an enclosure. Same with the tortoise. Wanted to alert Deep Blue about this as well.

Deep Blue products look great online but that means nothing if they don’t perform.

I've never owned any Deep Blue tanks, but agree that they look great.

A store near me has a 2.5 gallon Deep Blue cube set up as a shrimp tank. Looks very nice, and it's been set up for years. I honestly don't see them being shoddy tanks, as most you find are just fine in any brand. I'm using a cheap Aqueon 10 gallon, and have had no issues with it.

The tank I saw was solid and used thicker glass. The bottom is tempered glass too. Loved the dimensions of it too. It was a 2.5 gallon and about 15” long and maybe 10” high. Perfect for a nano shrimp setup I want.

On their website, they have air pumps, lights, etc.

Well I have yet to get a response from Deep Blue via email. Must not want to sell me a tank...and if this is how they treat a potential customer can’t imagine what customer service might be like.

That's too bad. I'd love to own one of their pico cubes. But, if they're going to be a horrible company, I can also build one for just a few bucks more, if I ever wanted a cube with those dimensions.

My thoughts exactly...and if only I had the time.
I sent another email and will post an update.

I finally got an email back this morning from their customer service. Sent the second email with my personal account rather than my business email so that may have been part of the issue.

I'm a bit confused, you inferred from seeing someone who owns one of their tanks not taking proper care of their animals that the company might not be of high quality? Maybe I missed something. Was the mom and pop place selling Deep Blue and you just didn't want to do business with them?

Yea the mom n pop pet store had a few Deep Blue aquariums for sale. I really liked the quality of the Deep Blue aquariums and would have bought the 2.5 gallon they had for sale. BUT the deplorable conditions of the mom n pop store deterred me from buying the Deep Blue aquarium.
