I'm a happy fish momma today! My new tank has finally finished cycling, and my beautiful red and black rosetail betta, Deadpool, has finally been able to be moved from his temporary home (a horrible little tiny tank that we usually use for just temporary placements) into his 6.6 gallon home!
Yay!
Also, he now has a snail to accompany him.
And, I attempted to "aquascape" the tank, but we'll see how long the division between the two colored sands last hahaha. If they end up mixing, oh well!
I can't wait until the plants are a little more established (just added a few new plants in there the other day) so I can get some lovely red cherry shrimp in there. Fortunately, Deadpool is probably the most placid betta I've ever had (the complete opposite of my Little Dude aka Sashimi) so I'm not too worried about him attacking any tankmates.
