Dead Patch Walstad

    While the bowl has experienced some melting as it matures, there is a big dead patch of my dwarf sag. I was gone for 11 days and upon returning the entire top was covered in duckweed, I have since removed most of it. Is the duckweed the culprit? IMG_20180411_185841.jpg

    It's possible. Duckweed sucks nutrients out of the water column fast and depending on how much there is block light from reaching the bottom.
