I throw in some pellets and they only got them the first day and were active and going everywhere and now after the first day they won't come out. I currently have 7. 5 are bunched up in a plant together and there are 2 in separate plants alone. What do I do
I also have an oranda in it

The shrimp may not come out of hiding as long as the goldfish is there. They don't want to be eaten.

I just went to petco and bought some HikarI Sinking Wafers. The lady told me to cut it into smaller pieces for them to eat easier. I added the omega one small sinking pellets for my oranda and like 2 of the 7 shrimps got a pellet and went back to hiding but the others won't come out. So If I crumble up and it gets up in the filters and none end up going down to the shrimps to be able to get and also what if my oranda gets it is it safe for them?

Hiding is not the same as dying.

The goldfish will be fine if he eats a little bit of the shrimp food. And even if you only saw a few of the shrimp eating doesn't mean that the others didn't get some too.

My rcs refuse to eat anything that isn't on my plants. Lucky for me I was low on options so my tank is next to a window. Algae bloom is currently going full steam ahead but I'm hoping all the work it too blocking out 3 sides of the tank will fix it. How old is your tank? I believe if it isn't very new you likely have plenty of food growing in there for them already, you just don't see it.

2 weeks and 2 days old.

I have fake plants in there. The glass is starting to get algae ( I think) It looks like its getting a layer like foggy from the inside. The water is clear but when I look at the water from above you can see where the fish have slid on the glass or when I touch the glass. Would this be a time to get snails to eat algea? Ive been wanting to add mystery snails. They look nice and especially their eyes. They come out of the shell more than the nerite snails which only I think don't even come out.

My nerites never seem to stop moving. They are ninjas so they may just not be doing much while you are awake, they should clean the glass for you, mine like to go everywhere as long as it isn't a live plant. Even saw one knife edge cleaning a plastic plant leaf.

My Nerites actually clean my plant leaves quite nicely! I'm sure I leave my lights on for too long and was getting quite a bit of algae on the leaves. Since adding in the Nerites many of them are now clean! They are small enough they can sort of float on the leaves. I've seen my shrimp picking at algae but have yet to see the fruits of their labor!
