I'm having to recycle my goldfish tank from scratch and it's a pain, I added the first bottle of TSS when the ammonia levels were to high which I read will kill it at high levels. Then I added another bottle but my ammonia still won't go to 0!ugh should I just keep waiting?

And this is why we don't test water mid-cycle with TSS.

Don't do anything, stop testing the water. Wait until the 14 days is up, then you can test and water change as necessary.

maybe that's why its taking longer, I did like 4 water changes in this whole just really scared my goldies aren't gonna make it :(

I wouldn't be concerned.... I agree with junebug. Goldfish are hardy. (Well, most types are)

If you change water during a TSS cycle, it won't work. Time to start over, sounds like. If you want the tank to cycle, add a bottle of TSS and don't touch anything for two weeks.
