    My jewel cichlids layed eggs last weekend but I’m afraid they may have ate them. I’m not sure if I was doing anything wrong but hopefully they will spawn again with more success

    I’ve had problems with egg layers in the past. I accidentally left a male and female betta together, and a few days later I found the male eating the bubble nest.
    Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think cichlids lay eggs somewhat regularly.
