I have an empty 29 gallon that I am trying to figure out what to stock it with. I have a total of 27 tanks and 13 of them are "breeding projects". Livebearers, tetras, cichlids, etc. Most of my tanks are "species only" in case I get lucky and non-breeding projects breed for me. LOL!

I cannot decide if I want to turn this empty 29 gallon into a danio, small cichlid, barb, or tetra tank.

I have bred several species of cichlid and livebearers, but can't decide what I want to do with this tank. I am thinking rummynose tetras, one of the rarer species of danio, tiger barbs, or maybe a small species of cichlid.

What does everyone think? I am open to any and all suggestions, even if they aren't on the list.

I know nothing of breeding, but I've always liked barbs, especially long-fin rosy barbs. For all I know they may be impossible to breed, though.

Get a group of Danio choprae, the Glowlight Danio. Don't confuse these with the GM Glo-Fish. These fish are from Myanmar and 100% natural. They look fantastic in a planted tank and are easy to care for. While not the easiest Danio to spawn, they are not that hard either.

They must not be, considering the longfins are bred varieties and they keep showing up at the chain stores XD

Apistogramma Cacatuoides. The dwarf cockatoo cichlid!
There really aren't that many available so I think it would be a great one to breed.

I voted Danios because I saw this picture Dennis posted and thought they were absolutely lovely.
