I have 1 QT male molly (away from the pregnant molly in my 55 gallon), and 2 new mollies in a 10 gallon. The 2 new ones are isolated because they are new. Both female, 1 dalmation and 1 black.
Yesterday I noticed the dalmation molly had pop-eye. I ran out and bought Maracyn Two and used it last night.
Woke up this morning and dalmation molly was dead. The other 2 mollies seem fine, should I continue using the Maracyn Two on them just in case?
Now, I have noticed for the past couple days the 2 female mollies in the 55 gallon are acting sick as well. One is gold the other is silver. They both look like they're dirty to me, like they were rolling in dirt. The white/silver one had 2 white spots on her tail fin. So I have been using Mardel Biospheres for Ick, Velvet, and other parasites. I am pretty sure it's ick but I have no idea why they look dirty, they are both hiding and not coming up for food like they used to. They used to be the first ones right there whenever I was at the tank. Wagging there tales looking at me. Now they just hide behind my house decoration at the bottom of the tank.
what could be wrong with them? I have no idea. Oh all the numbers were good except the nitrites were very high. Did a water change last night and started using the Ick medication. Is there anything else I can do?
I don't want to lose any more mollies!!!
I can't believe how sick they are getting when everyone was doing so well for so long.
