Welcome to Fishlore. That sounds like a trick of the light, some fish have an iridescence that only shows when light hits them a certain way, hang on for more responses from our molly keepers

All the other dalmatians I have under the same light dont do it. Just the newborn ones that are now 5 months old.

I’v got a Dalmatian Molly that when the light hits him glows an electric blue colour. He is the only one i have atm that does this. But it is just a trick of the light as stated above as far as im aware. Looks beautiful though! :)

So the one that glows blue is one I brought and the ones that don’t i have bred. But they are still fairly young so we’ll see.

My adults did not. The ones that do were bread from those adults but I had neon tetras in with them so I thought she may have picked up some sperm out on accident lol
