Daily Water Changes with a net breeder hanging on the side???

I have researched and found that daily water changes for platy fry or any fry is beneficial for their growth. I have a 10 gallon platy tank that *had* 2 females and 1 male. I re-homed the male because more fry is not wanted at this time. So I have a net breeder with a patch of fake grass for hiding and 3 fry hanging in my 10 gallon. The fry are 9 days old. I have been feeding them either crushed flakes or First Bites.

My idea on the daily water changes is only taking out enough water to where the water level goes half way in the net breeder. Would that work?

I gueas that would work just make sure the water isn't too cold so you don't shock the fry

Sounds good.
Be aware that your females can hold sperm for several months after just one mating. You may still have fry about every 28 to 30 days for a few months
It was still a good idea to remove the males.

I recently put a moss ball in the net breeder and boyyyy did the fry come alive then...lol They are growing daily and I was wondering is it normal for them to hang out at the top of the water in the net breeder?

I'm so ready to put the fry in my fry tank....Miss Ellie is in there right now keeping it cycled. And I think she might be pregnant can someone tell me? And if so is she about to drop? My first 3 were suprises so I'm clueless on telling if and when. Here is a picture.
