    Hi there,
So I've been cycling m first tank for ten days now. On day one I added a bottle of tetra safe start plus, and I've been using pure ammonia to keep the ammonia level at 2ppm.
For all ten days my ammonia has been 2ppm, 0 nitrites, and 0 nitrates, at 80°F. I know cycling can take awhile, but is there anything I can do to speed this up?

Usually what's recommended to speed it up is turning up the temperature, but I see you've already done that. Cycling is a process that takes time, usually 4 - 6 weeks and seeing no changes during the first 10 days isn't unusual. Keep testing the water and research the fish you want for when your tank is ready!

Bump your ammonia up to 4 ppm, and your temperature to 82. That worked well for me. There’s a lot of controversy here as to whether products like tetra safe start actually work. I didn’t use any bacteria additives when cycling my 75 gallon, and it ended up taking about 8 weeks. Good luck!
