Cyanobacteria In Shrimp Tank

So I'm setting up a fish tank, so it has a big cholla piece with some java moss on it. However the moss is covered with cyanobacteria. Would this be harmful to neocaridina shrimp or would they just consume it? They also have biofilm, cholla, and I'm planning on getting lava rock and shrimp specific food as well.
Thanks!

It won't harm them, but they also won't eat it. You risk having it spread more.

If the tank is just being setup I would treat it with antibiotics to kill the cyano before adding shrimp.

What kind of antibiotics do I need?

Ok thanks. I think I’ll do a black out maybe a month after, and I’ll try to remove as much as I can manually. I don’t know if I’ll be able to use chemicals after the shrimp are in there.

Great thanks! Should I do water changes once the cyano is gone for the shrimp?

Yes do a large water change after its gone or if you have a bucket or someyhing big enough to hold your wood you can treat it there if its nowhere else in your tank.
