I read that cuttlebone "for birds" can be used as a calcium supplement for snail shell growth. I put a piece in my tank a week ago, but my snails ignore it. Anyone have any experience using this method? My ph is good, just trying to go above and beyond. Also doing crushed coral in the filter, and even tried giving them a cherry flavored tums tab.

    They are mystery snails btw.

they dont need to eat it. It will break down in the water and thats all thats needed.

Oh okay. I had saw on YouTube snails rasping on the cuttlebone. Makes since tho since they kinda melt away.
