Omg, these stories are so cute. My family gives me all sorts of swear over how much I go on and on about how adorable bettas actually are. I bought my boys those leaf hammocks and my black one, Wally, loves laying on it. I've been trying to get a pic but every time he's seen me take out my phone, he comes a swimming towards it. He's even been known to flair up at it when I have my phone pointed at him. I love to think he's just being a bit of a ham, but I suppose it's more likely he doesn't know what to think about the thing I'm holding.

My betta loves his ADFs. He follows them, then lays on them.
My other fish don't seem to get that when I'm cleaning their tank they need to swim Away and not towards the syphon.

Oh what a cute betta you have, they are such darlings!
Recently my coral blue dwarf gourami does his own special form of glass surfing along side my cory cats, there is near misses and crashes and sometimes a molly or neon get caught up in the race to the top

I've been trying to get a pic but every time he's seen me take out my phone, he comes a swimming towards it.
BHC I always have the same problem when I try to photograph my fish! I'll get my phone out and they'll all come toward the front glass like 'ooh what's this?' and totally ruin the shot I was trying to get I guess it's good though because it provides them with a bit of mental stimulation to stop them getting too bored.
