Custom avatar

I signed up for photo bucket and re-sized a pic for my avatar. when I use the img code on fishlore, I save and it says invalid file. I made it smaller than the maximum. what is the deal?

I do it in Paint. Makes life so much easier. Just crop what you want, a little bigger than you want, and go through and take of a few pixels until you reach the size you need. It doesn't have to be exact either. Say you need 200x400. It can be 400x800. Its the ratio they want, not the size, really. I couldn't tell you what the problem is with yours, having never done it that way.

 

that is weird, it said the file was to big and I thought it didn't work. it did though. weird.

 

Make sure its the right format (.jgp, jpeg, etc), other wise it won't take it.
