Is this where the build thread/journals go? If not, please move!
So I have a lot of tanks in the basement for lots of purposes from plants to breeding but nothing fancy.
This build is a peninsula tank, on a reinforced dividing wall between my kitchen and living room. And I plan for it to be spectacular. It will be my prize. No expense spared. I decided not to plumb the wall and instead will keep all equipment next to the tank. This will be a planted community tank.
I had $400 saved for this tank back in February. I said to myself, I need to do this right. Let’s professionally aquascape this thing. So I doordashed on the weekends for almost 6 months straight and invested $2,500.00 into this set up buying piece by piece including a gorgeous $1,200.00 custom acrylic tank from the best in the industry - Envision Acrylics taking 2 months to build.
The patience and work has been hard but all supplies have been ordered arrived and everything is paid off and it’s time to build this weekend.
