Hi, I was hoping you could help me identify these plants.
I was thinking they were a species of crypt.
    Thanks

How tall are the plants themselves? Do they have nodules at the base where the roots come out?

Yes they do have nodules at the base and are about 1inch tall

Makes me wonder if they're some kind of Aponogeton.

My best guess with the pics provided would be Cryptocoryne lutea or lucens. Can the op get some closer pics?

    I'm betting C. Lucens.
