Crypts And Val

Ive heard story’s how certain crypts and Val can’t grow in the same tank. I have just some plain Jane valiseria and I’m wanting to put crypt spiralis. Have any of you guys experienced problems with growing crypt and Val in the same tank?

 

I haven’t heard of “jane” vallisneria. but, I have never had a problem with growing both in my tank.

 

It may be a coincidence, but my jungle val has started to die off and the crypts are doing great. Though before the vals started melting I was using 3% hydrogen peroxide for killing off green bush algae.

 

I have jungle val and several different types of crypts. Everything has been doing great for many months.

 

I think I’ll keep both plants and experiment a little, thank you.
