I've crossed a platinum dumbo tiger female with a magenta velvet roundtail male. The outcome is great! Not all males look really identical but do resemble eachother in a way. The female offspring look just like their mom.
Not all males have the typical black pectoral fins but the size of those pectoral fins are large.
Overhere some of those male offspring.

Those are some great looking guppies, especially the male on the right on the second picture.

Came from the same parents. That they come from velvet guppies is obvious. If you breed dumbos (also known as elephant ear or big ears), a percentage of the males won't show large pectoral fins or even dark colored pectorals. Same with the offspring overhere...

I will somehow make up an excuse to go to the Netherlands for a vacation for summer and smuggle some guppies back.
