Crazy Betta Dream!

thought i'd share something funny! last night I woke up in such a fright, and immediately checked on my tanks! I had a horrible dream!

it started with my cat, I was chilling in the living room, and he starts to walk upstairs to my room, where the fish are. I didn't think I shut my door, and I don't trust him with my tanks, so I followed him up, he started running, and got into my room! somehow the lid was off of my 2.5 with my betta Jason, and my cat ATE HIM! I was so upset! I cried and cried until I decided to check on my other bettas, Mist, my baby male, was PINECONING! I immediately posted to fishlore, and I got lots of views, but only one answer.. "he's going to die" I was so sad! I started some treatment on him, and then he started spazzing, and then my cat, who had become a giant 15 foot tall cat monster, walked in, pushed me out of the way with his giant paws, and start to drink mist tank water! then he DRANK MIST!! by this time I was so sad I thought the only thing to cheer me up was my 5 baby females, I walked over, and they HAD ICH VELVET AND FUNGAL GROWTHS! I started to lose it and finally woke up. checked on fishies and sure enough they were fine crazy dreams!

 

Oh my gosh I have had nightmares about my fish too! Glad I'm not the only one! It's like never a good dream lol, always nightmares.

 

Oh they haunt me occasionally. I had a bunch of nightmares but I tend to forget them. The only one that I made myself remember was when one of my bettas jumped across the divider and attacked my other betta. All my nightmares about them, I wake up sweaty and with tears in my eyes. They always scare me in my sleep.

 

sometimes I get scary ones but mostly going to fish store ones. Last night I had one... its the same fish store I go to in every dream. Cute bettas too. Or there was one were I saved 50 guppys and 4 betts in a 10 gallon.. lol crazy dreams. Even if its 4am I'm out with my flash light checking on my fin babys.

 

Theres actually a thread about this. Dreaming About Fish!? I had a dream too (which I put on the thread) but since I'm so lazy to type it out I'll quote myself

In flordia My brain mashed bettas and a saltwater tank together so I dreamt about a betta sorority with nerites and some kind of saltwater shrimp all in a 50 gallon and it felt so real I was concerned on how I was going to transport them home to MN when I woke up I was sad because I don't have a sorority

 

haha! actually had another one last night!! I had 12 discus (never even had one, why am I dreaming of one??) in a 10g! and then my two males started to fight in their really big, probably like 125 gallon! and then I neglected the discus! they had half a tank full of a water, looked dirty, but were still alive. so crazy! no more fish nightmares Lol!

 

I dreamed that my dog fell off my bed onto my fish tank (its a bunk bed.) The tank smashed. I woke up in a cold sweat
