I have a ten gallon tank with two black skirt tetras in it. I have ordered a crayfish to add to my tank. I have all the necessary requirements for the crayfish, but lately, one tetra has been hiding in the place i made for the crayfish. Any ideas to make a new hide for the crayfish ? I want to make sure he does not get bothered while molting. I do not have a coconut. Makeshift hide ideas?

Plumbing pieces. Clay flowerpots. Driftwood stacks. Those sinking logs for bettas. They will use all of them.

You need a bigger group of your tetra's. Crayfish are meant to be in a tank by themselves. I would worry about your tetra's more than your crayfish. Your crayfish will kill the tetra's very quickly if he isn't very well fed.
