When I'm far away from the tank at the door he dosent notice me but when I walk up to the tank he always comes up to the corner of the tank to greet me I was curious to see if any of you have a simaler encounter bef5b33f73bb7e2bad7a387a8e189b5d.jpg This picture is from far away

He knows that when you appear ---food often follows. Just like birds who follow fishing boats because they have learned fish somehow come to the surface near boats out at sea -they have to do very little work.
Or, we can choose to believe that they really enjoy our company- ;)

They change colors as they grow...completely normal. Mine went from a smokey black to bright orange.

My Goldie's are like mini puppies...in fact most of my fish are... I take pleasure in that they swim in circles for me, but not for others... most likely from food, but I'll take it :)

Assuming you know that tank is way too small for him? :(
