Was just curious when I saw one of my female albino corydoras swimming around the tank (as if searching for something). Do females swim around the tank when they try to find decorations or plants to lay their eggs on? I have a few females and males in the tank. Anyone know how females behave when they want to lay their eggs on something? (I know about the T shape and breeding, I just want to know if my female is searching for something or just exploring).

There is a dance that require at least a male and female-usually more than one male is with them. They race around tight together and after she moves her egg into her pectoral fin she quickly deposits it where she wants.

If the first bit didn't happen just seconds ago, my best is she's just snooping around.
