Hello everyone so I have a new 20 gallon tank set up with sand and 3 fake plants I gave about 3 corys also , I'm not sure if it's just me but have any of you who have kept corys noticed that they just love to touch the plants alot like over and over and sometimes they will go inside and get stuck and wiggle out unharmed I have noticed that my corys just like to keep playing and feeling the plants repeatedly with the whiskers so has any one else noticed there corys do this e7ddbe5a92eedd4dbb1a479640595da0.jpg9a99c4a2e6c392c798595d6cb68a4d2a.jpgb61a47c3b70b323fd7aea656ea25a195.jpg47ae9be2594c21ab891b8c043cc262bc.jpg33b9df514eacb1742edd7b0b3b06c488.jpg

It could be them eating algae off the plants. I have real plants and mine get so hyped about plant roots :/

Corys aren't algae eaters, they're probably foraging for tiny food particles & the micro organisms in the plants
