In a 29 gallon tank, I have 6 albino corydoras. Most of they time they are scrounging around for food in the substrate or chilling. Recently they’ve been going to the top for air more often than usual, but there’s no sign of flashing or white spots. My other fish are fine, but my Cory’s are acting odd. Is this normal?
I have 20 cherry barbs in this tank along with-
6 corydoras
1 pearl gourami
5 female guppies
And a few cherry shrimp

Is there any advice you guys have?

Have you checked your water parameters since you noticed them going to the surface more? Any new decorations or moved your filter output that changed the water flow in your tank?

If they’re eating fine and otherwise acting “normal” they could just be acting like a cory.
