Cory cats

I was always reading about all these people saying how cute their corys are and how great they are well today I finally got some and I can see what all the hype is about I love these little guys almost as much as they love those shrimp pellets lol

 

Yeah my corys have got to be my favorite fish.....so peaceful, active, and silly fish! What they lack in color they make up in, well, everything else.

Yup! I just had to set up a separate tank with pool filter sand substrate for corys (I have 2 ambiacus and 3 julii) and a piece of driftwood for a bristlenose pleco. What totally did me in for corys was the first time one "winked" at me. I had no idea corys could blink, and when one of the ambiacus swam up to the front, plopped down on the sand and winked, I was smitten. Of course I don't think it had anything to do with me standing there, but it was cute, nonetheless.

They are definitely unique little fish!
