Cory Cats Not Going After Sinking Food

I recently picked up 3 panda cory cats from my lfs and bought some hikarI sinking wafers that contain silkworm and krill. I dropped a pellet right near where they were hanging out but they never went for it and after about 15 minutes I took it out. I'm wondering if it is because they are still really new to the tank and are getting used to their new home?

My cory cats would always wait for a day or two, like for example I feed my fish algae wafers, you just drop it in and it eventually dissolves even after my cory cats had been in the tank for months they wouldnt ever eat food like that. Theyd just pick through the gravel, and clean up excess food from the fish.

Same with my 3 pandas. The next day they started eating the pellets. At first, they are stressed and won't eat. They will eat after a day or 2

Yeah they have been going after the left over food from the tetras but I just wanted to make sure they were getting other foods that they eat in their natural habitat.
