Cory Catfish Swimming Nonstop, Ph Seems A Little High, Nitrates Were Also

Ok, so I made another post, which is why I am here now. Someone commented that my Cory fishies seemed to be swimming a lot, and as I have never had Cories before, I want to seek some knowledge. I immediately tested my water parameters, which I thought were pristine. Come to find out, my Nitrates were between 20-40 ppm. I did an immediate 30% water change, bringing them down to around 10ppm. I have dosed up with Prime, so I'm assuming all is well? Well, PH is kinda high also, 7.8. Cories are swimming all over, non stop. Any and all advice is appreciated right about now!

The ammonia is fine for them, my Cory’s live in an 8 pH. Could I get a video? What size tank? What kind of Cory’s? Tankmates?

Thanks for the response. Did you mean Nitrates? Ammonia is 0ppm. It's a 29 gallon. Uploading a video to YouTube now, will post shortly Tankmates are 5 Horned Nerites, 9 Rasboras, 4 Emerald Cory's and 4 Albino Cory's.

Additionally, Nitrites are 0 PPM and Ammonia is 0 PPM. Nitrates were around 10 PPM after water change and PH looks to be around 7.8.

20-40 isn't really that bad tbh, many say to keep it under 40 as a general rule. Even then, the pH isn't that high.

It might just be an active cory, which may correspond to barometric pressure, or may be breeding behaviour. Regardless I wouldn't worry, my cories do this on occasion.
