Cory Catfish Eggs?

My Cory catfish has been looking really fat lately and I thought she was just getting feed a lot because she’s in my discus tank but now I see these eggs and I’m thinking maybe they are hers. They are in a few different spots in my tank in small groups like these. I have 4 larger snails in the tank that I’m not sure the name of but at my fish store I was told they wouldn’t breed. I also have a smaller type of snail but these are way to large to be from them. I have 2 grey cories that I believe are male and female that I’ve had for over 2 years so they are fully grown. One of them is a little bit smaller then the other one. They haven’t breed yet. I’m hoping they are Cory eggs and I’ll get a few babies from them. I’m going to try and get them out of the tank soon just so they don’t get eaten. Thanks!

I don’t have any nerites in the tank that I know of. A small one could have stuck on to some plants or rocks that were in my other tanks though when I moved them over. How would i go about breeding my cories if I wanted to?

I don’t have any nerites that I know of. One could have been on some rocks or plants that I put into the tank a while back and I just haven’t noticed him.

What species of cory do you have? Some are easier to get spawning than others

Coradee I have 2 green cories, 1 albino cory, and 3 of a species I’m not sure of and then 1 of another species I’m not sure of. Maybe you could help id them for me. The 2 in the picture are different species.

I believe Cory eggs are clearish unless they’re not fertilized.

I find corys extremely easy to breed. Feed a lot for a few days then do a slightly colder (3 degrees) water change.

I have emerald cories that breed at the drop of a hat

1) too low on tank- the female wiggles and swims up and down tank to release eggs. I have never seen them that low in the past year+. The egg cluster is long & thin due to how eggs are released - maybe 4-6 inches in length, around 1 inch wide.
2) too few, you will see clusters of 50 or more eggs
3) You will see eggs at 3-4 different locations on tank glass
4) once deposited, the male swims & fertilizes them

my females are huge 3 inches long and nearly 25% more body weight than a male.
