I have an albino cory cat who's fins are badly torn. There is no aggressive fish attacking him and it isnt fin rot as his fins have been torn for a while. there also isnt any decor that he could get cut on. I have pea gravel. Is that tough on fish fins? I will take pics if that would be helpful.

Here are some blurry pics of my tank.
1. My dwarf gourami ( he was moving so it is blurry)
2. A pic of the entire tank
3 The cory cat. You can sort of see the ripped fins. ( note he is the only cory in the tank. I had a school but he is the only surviving member)
4 a close up of the tiki decoration, which is the only piece of decor other than plants
the tank size is 10 gallons. The other occupants are a khuli loach and 3 female bettas. ( I thought the khuli loach was dead so I ended up getting more fish, that is why it seems overstocked when he gets bigger I will put him in my 40 gallon bowfront) The same thing happened with the khuli loach that happened to the cory, I had a school and only he survived)

His fins are quite short… are you sure it is not any of the betta!

Looks like they have been nipped rather than ripped. 3 female bettas and a dwarf gourami in that size tank versus a single cory could end up that way.

I have never seen any of them being aggressive, they mostly just mind their own business. I suppose it is a possibility though.
