This is not the usual mad dash gulp for air...it's almost like he's trying to build a bubble nest. And as you can see in the video my gourami is annoyed with his efforts. Anybody see this before and should I worry?

Oops... Trying to add the video...stay tuned

It doesn't sound like normal behaviour, will wait for the vide to see what he's doing

Thanks Coradee, so frustrated that I can't load the video! He did this continuously for about 8 hours on Saturday and then went back to his usual wiggly happy self. Will keep an eye on him but he seems ok and so do all of his friends. A mystery it seems...

I've been listening to podcasts, I heard that like bloodworms/gravel(sand) can be extruded from gills, I dont see any reason bubbles wouldnt be normal. However, to my acknowledgment this is not breeding habits.
