Corner Tank Owners

OK,so I figured... (the big MTSer that I am) can squeeze a corner tank some place... and was wondering, if you have one...

How do you like it?
How many gallons do you have?
Do you feel the maintenance is easy?
Do you have full access to do the maintenance?
Would you recommend a corner tank?

I have exactly the same questions. We were toying with the idea of a mini-corner tank for our betta. That way, it would have been able to be in the living room with us. But they seem to only make them from a certain size.

I've seen a 5 gal corner tank at PetSmart -- I think it's part of the Marineland Eclipse series of tanks. That would work for a betta.

I was looking for something larger, like in the 40-60 category...

Oh really? Cool. Pretty sure I'd have a hard job finding that here in The Netherlands. But good to know they exist. Thanks for the heads up!

Since Marineland is a pretty big vendor of aquarium equipment, you'd probably be able to find it online. Here's a link to it on the Drs. F&S site:

Well, I'm sure there's some supplier in Europe who has them. Maybe in the UK?

Am thinking I've taken the fish hobby far enough. Flying to the UK is where I draw the line!

Ah, go on -- fly to London, see Big Ben, Westminster Abby, the Tower, ride the Eye, buy a fish tank -- sounds like a perfect vacation to me! ;D

theessigs...I have a 30 gal hex I put in my corner ...and I love it.... cleaning is easy..but the only thing it is so heavy even empty...I have to get the hubby to lift it for me.....and since its high rather than long you might not be able to put some fish in it....that you could for a 30 gal long tank.... but I have small fish so they don't mind it.....
