i feed my corys hikari sinking wafers. my corys love them but so does the betta that they share the tank with. since the betta eats any he can find i was curious...is the cory food okay for the betta to eat? and how do i stop him from eating all the corys food?

I think you should feed the corries first and then watch how much the betta eats. Depending on how much he eats you can feed him his food afterwards to make sure he gets a balanced diet.

try putting some in for him on one side and then adding some more on the other side for the corries.

Try feeding the Betta his or her pellets and then dropping the wafer in the tank. My Cory's also like the shrimp pellets as a treat. I would be a bit concerned about your Betta developing bloat with so much food available and their habit of eating too much.

I'd recommend feeding the cories after lights out. Mr. Betta will likely be sleepy or resting when it's later and dark and the cories will have no problem finding the food they need.
