Does anyone know what salinity a coral cat shark needs in it's water?

    Regular salt water,

I went through a couple sites to cross check salinity but it was there as listed above across three very different sites.

If you go further down the forum page here, there is a section for salt water just like the freshwater section.

Seems to be about the same as saltwater fish in the 1.024-1.025 range.

Incidentally I hope you have a fair bit of experience with saltwater fish before doing that. Sharks require a lot of care and you need a good size tank (180 gallons minimum for 1 coral cat shark). You will also need to basically plumb your house with a large RODI/Salt mix system and at least 30 gallons or more of water changed out per week. There is a reason why sharks and rays are listed as expert for care.
