Cool baby three stripe mud turtle habitat.

I found this baby turtle a month ago on my driveway during a storm,we live at least two miles from water so idk how he got here but I brought him inside and once my girl saw it we just had to keep it and have ben spoling it since.

 

I hope you are prepared to get a bigger habitat for your cute turtle, I upgraded tanks 3 times for my turtles.

 

Have you been providing it with the proper vegetation, insects, feeders, pellet foods? As well as proper UVB and heating lights AND vitamin supplements?

Id like to add, when they say small fish for diet, Not goldfish. They are a very junkfoody fish.

yes I have,ive done a lot of research on this turtle and what it needs.
I provide turtle water conditioner,uvb and heat lamp and a wide range of foods her fravorite are live gost shrimp and thawed bloodworms.
and no goldfish duh

 

its a pretty small turtle,the biggest this turtle gets as an adult is 4 to 6 inches,so as it grows I will provide more room for it.
soon I will have a shallow heavily planted tank but for now its turtle island.

I like the little beachy set up I've been tempted myself to keep turtles I've found but then I'd have to go buy a huge tank for it... Plus it's illegal because I don't have a license for one lol. And can't keep wild caught ones.
