Convincing Parents?

Hey guys! I was wondering if you guys have any tips on convincing parents to let me set up another tank? I just got a new 5 gallon for my Betta at a garage sale for $5! I wanted a new one because mine is a little scratched up... I just cleaned it up and realized that only one side is scratched up. So now I have a nice, empty tank. The problem is my mom said NO more tanks of any kind in my room. I want to put a dwarf crayfish in... any ideas to convince her? Thanks!

 

Offer to pay for the setup and cray yourself, or do something (work) to earn it or pay it off. $1 per gallon at petco right now should make that easier

Just set it up then you will get grounded and be able to spend the next week in your room with 2 new 5 gallon tanks... just kidding don’t do that.. if you’ve already proved to her you can care for one tank tell her you will treat this one the same way. Good luck!!

This one should run until August 8th, 10-29g tanks are $1 per gallon, 40-75 is 50% off. Though you might want to get the equipment at another store, I feel everything is slightly marked up when tanks go on sale

It runs until the 24th at my local Petco.
