My Convict seems a little too interested in the snail , I've been watching for about 10 minutes now and they have now left him alone. I have 2 convcts in a 15 gallon with sand substrate.
They nipped at him a few times and surprising to see the snail just flinched for a few seconds and carries on. Usually they shell up for a good while.
Anyone have problems with this combo?

I have not had convict cichlids before however I would recommend just keeping an eye on them and remove the snail if they start getting too interested.

I'd recommend nerites or pest snails as they have way less exposed meat and are less likely to be picked on.
