I have a breeding pair of convicy chiclids, i put a cave in the tank and i think the female have laid eggs but she keeps attacking the male every time he come near the cave. She will come out and attack then go back into cave. Same with feeding she will come out and eat then go straight back to the cave. Is this normal breeding behavior?

She probably has eggs, and at this point his job is to guard the territory. She is reminding him of that!

Those aren't eggs in the gravel, they are wigglers. Convicts lay their eggs on the ceiling of their caves. The timing is about right for them to have hatched, too. The fun starts when they begin swimming!
