Contingency planning post moving

In a little less than a week I will be going back to college. It's going to be probably about 20 degrees warmer (and a lot sunnier) than it was when I left college at the end of the school year. I'll have the AC running and hope my fish make it. However the purpose of this post is let's say all the fish (and my one shrimp) don't make it. I am going to restock with betta or CPD most likely. Depends on what the store has. However the time between fish loss and restock could be a day to a week. Will I lose my BB? (I already think this is a yes). Secondly I have two anubias plants. It's currently a barebottom tank and they get the ocassional little bit of API leaf zone liquid. Will those plants be fine during that period? Or should I use the leaf zone to help them? (I know anubias is a tank but want to make sure).

Why wouldn't your fish make it? I've helped transport fish across the US border with a 24+ hour drive. Yours should make it

You can add ammonia to keep the cycle going. Plants will also be fine. They don't need leaf zone to help them make the transition.

I think they will. This is just me thinking through possibly scenarios. My only really concern is the heat. Looking it's going to be at least 60 but could be in 70 to 80 range. I'll stop three times, and keep those stops as short as possible.

Just saw the forecast, and will be in upper 60s to 80s during the course of the day.

That should be totally fine. Fish are shipped for a longer period of time in the same weather. Water doesn't change temp as quickly as the air. You can keep the fish in bags in a cooler if it makes you feel better. That'll help control the temp.
